Your role at OTOKO®

You want to understand how different systems exchange information and work together reliably. This apprenticeship profile combines networking fundamentals, interfaces and analysis of connected workflows. You learn to identify dependencies and test changes transparently.

How connected systems work together

You investigate how information flows between applications and devices. Manageable tasks teach you about connections, interfaces and protocols. When a data flow is interrupted, you examine the systems involved with support. You learn to consider permissions, availability and data formats together. Learning assignments are selected according to your training level and their results are documented transparently.

Your responsibilities

  • Learn the fundamentals of networks, interfaces and interconnected IT systems.
  • Record data flows and system dependencies and document them clearly.
  • Contribute to the integration, monitoring and troubleshooting of connected solutions.
  • Learn about security and availability requirements and review small changes under guidance.
  • Set up and document simple connections and interfaces under guidance.
  • Investigate connection and format errors in test environments and record the review steps.

What you bring

You do not need to bring a complete technical specialisation when you start. What matters is interest, willingness to learn and readiness to complete practical tasks carefully.

  • Interest in IT, technical relationships and connected systems.
  • Patience when troubleshooting, careful documentation and willingness to learn through practical work.
  • Openness to working with a range of technical contacts.

Additional strengths

This knowledge is helpful, but you do not need to have all of it at once. In your application, describe where you have already gained practical experience and which areas you would like to explore in greater depth.

  • Initial experience with networks, interfaces or personal technical projects.
  • School projects or internships related to IT systems and networking.
