Full Stack Developer (all genders)

You implement features end to end, from the data model to the user interface. Especially with integrations and SaaS applications, your view of both sides helps you bring business requirements and technical constraints together. You take responsibility for a clearly defined flow rather than individual files alone.

A feature begins with a business rule and ends with a usable flow in the browser. You design the data model, API contract and interaction together. Uploads, approvals and external data retrieval need clear boundaries for permissions, runtime and error handling. You trace a defect from the screen through to backend processing. Release, data migration and testing are parts of the same implementation package.

• Break business features into small, verifiable steps and implement them across frontend, API and data storage.
• Coordinate interfaces and data models with the teams involved and roll out changes in a controlled manner.
• Account for permissions, validation and error handling throughout.
• Add tests for important user journeys and analyse errors across multiple system layers.
• Break user flows, including migration, API and frontend work, into verifiable implementation packages.
• Analyse integration errors across several system layers using traceable transaction identifiers.

What matters is demonstrable experience that is relevant to the role. It may come from appropriate vocational training, a degree, professional practice or a well-founded career change. We will align the specific level of responsibility with your knowledge and experience.

• Practical experience in frontend and backend development and with relational databases.
• Understanding of web architecture, authentication and maintainable API interfaces.
• Ability to clarify business processes independently and demonstrate implementation results clearly.

This knowledge is helpful, but you do not need to have all of it at once. In your application, describe where you have already gained practical experience and which areas you would like to explore in greater depth.

• Experience with cloud operations, CI/CD or SaaS products.
• Knowledge of integrating AI features or modernising older applications.

You deliver end-to-end features with suitable checks and a clear transition into operations. Quality is demonstrated by whether the real user journey works and later changes remain manageable.

This role can be based in Cologne or performed remotely. We will agree the specific form of collaboration, project requirements and any necessary customer appointments before you start.

This role is offered as permanent employment on a full-time or part-time basis. We will agree the responsibilities, working hours, start date and compensation to suit the role and your level of experience.
