Your role at OTOKO®
You build platforms on which development teams can deliver applications reliably. Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps are tools for clearly defined processes. You design shared standards without placing unnecessary barriers between teams and their actual product work.
Kubernetes, GitOps and secure releases
A deployment must respond in a controlled manner to misconfiguration or missing dependencies. You develop standards for resource limits, health checks, secrets and network access. GitOps documents desired states but does not replace an upgrade and rollback strategy. Development teams receive clear paths for new applications and exceptions. Monitoring should help distinguish platform problems from errors within an application.
Your responsibilities
- Develop Kubernetes environments and reusable deployment patterns for different applications.
- Automate build, test and deployment pipelines and manage secrets and artefacts in a controlled manner.
- Integrate observability, access concepts and secure default configurations into the platform.
- Support development teams during adoption and troubleshooting and safeguard platform changes with upgrade and rollback plans.
- Create deployment patterns with readiness, liveness, resource limits and controlled secrets.
- Test cluster upgrades and rollbacks with ingress, storage and policy dependencies.
What you bring
What matters is demonstrable experience that is relevant to the role. It may come from appropriate vocational training, a degree, professional practice or a well-founded career change. We will align the specific level of responsibility with your knowledge and experience.
- Practical experience with Linux, containers and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, version control and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of networking, resource planning and the operational requirements of distributed applications.
Additional strengths
This knowledge is helpful, but you do not need to have all of it at once. In your application, describe where you have already gained practical experience and which areas you would like to explore in greater depth.
- Experience with GitOps, Helm, policy enforcement or internal developer platforms.
- Knowledge of software supply-chain security or site reliability engineering.
What matters in this role
You reduce the effort required for secure, repeatable releases. The platform must be understandable for development teams to use and provide operations teams with transparent states and error patterns.
