Your role at OTOKO®
You are interested in how data and business processes are connected. In this apprenticeship profile, you learn to check data, understand workflows and derive improvement proposals transparently. Technical tools are introduced step by step through concrete tasks.
From raw data to understandable analysis
A table contains duplicate entries, inconsistent date values or missing information. You learn quality rules and clean data in a traceable way. Initial SQL queries help answer business questions. You explain what a result means and which data is missing. Process diagrams show where information originates and how changes affect subsequent steps.
Your responsibilities
- Learn about data sources and business workflows and document how they are connected.
- Clean data, create simple analyses and identify quality issues.
- Learn SQL and basic data-processing tools through practical tasks.
- Present results clearly and assess process improvements with the team.
- Identify and clean errors in practice data and document the changes.
- Create simple queries and process diagrams and interpret them in their business context.
What you bring
You do not need to bring a complete technical specialisation when you start. What matters is interest, willingness to learn and readiness to complete practical tasks carefully.
- Interest in data, logical relationships and business processes.
- Careful working methods and willingness to question numbers and assumptions.
- Willingness to learn and ability to formulate follow-up questions clearly.
Additional strengths
This knowledge is helpful, but you do not need to have all of it at once. In your application, describe where you have already gained practical experience and which areas you would like to explore in greater depth.
- Initial experience with spreadsheets, small data analyses or programming.
- School projects or internships related to IT, organisation or data.
